The Burgwin-Wright House is pleased to welcome Greg Stanley for his solo show exhibiting pieces ranging from abstract to realism.

The Opening reception, in conjunction with Fourth Friday Gallery Nights, is on Friday April 28 from 6-9PM.

Stanley’s art will be on display in our gallery through May 20. Admission is free. Gallery is open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Greg Stanley is originally from Baltimore Maryland. He attended the Maryland Institute College of Art (BFA) and received his MFA from Towson University in 2005. Now retired, he made his living as a graphic designer and college professor teaching graphic design. Making art for almost 50 years, he began painting more actively in 2015 and paints in his studio in Leland. He has four genres of painting: still lifes, landscapes, abstractions/doodles and expressive experiences. One of Mr. Stanley’s landscape paintings was chosen for the 2022 NC Azalea Festival promotions and his work was also accepted into the juried 2022 Landfall art show. His work is represented in New Jersey at the Artful Deposit Gallery. He is a member of the Art League of Leland, the Wilmington Art Association and is active within the art community in Wilmington.
