In addition to the guided house tour, guests have access to the art gallery, exhibit hall, gift shop, and restrooms.

Guided tours of the house are given on the hour. 

The last tour of the day is at 3:00 p.m.

To purchase admission for guided tours, please enter the gift shop, located on the ground level of the museum house. We accept debit and credit cards.

Self-Guided Options
Guests are encouraged to enjoy a self-guided tour of the gardens, view exhibits in the visitor center, and enjoy the art in the gallery before or after taking a guided tour of the house.

Gift Shop
The gift shop is open during museum hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Out-of-town guests will find a wealth of merchandise that is unique to the museum and/or Wilmington - perfect mementos of your visit.

Gift shop offerings are constantly changing, but some examples of featured items are books on Colonial and local history, folk toys, locally made specialty food items, local art and crafts, note cards, post cards and other novelties.

Holiday Observances
The museum and gardens are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, December 23, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day. Holiday observances can impact museum hours. Please call our visitor center to confirm holiday hours.
