Join us for a Tea and Talk to celebrate the museum’s 70th Birthday!

Our guest speaker, Suzanne Adair, is the author of an award-winning mystery series set during the American Revolution in North Carolina. In her talk "Oh, Those Tea Parties!"

Adair explores how Patriot women used tea, like the men, to communicate —but in a more subtle fashion— blindsiding the British.

In-Person option: Tea along with sweet and savory nibbles will be served in the courtyard between 12pm-1pm. Talk begins promptly at 1pm in the visitor center; masks are required. Admission is $20, space is limited. Please call 910-762-0570 to make reservations.

Virtual ZOOM option - Please email [email protected] to sign-up and receive a link. Admission is $10.

All proceeds benefit the Burgwin-Wright House and Gardens, thank you for your support.
The Burgwin-Wright House is the oldest historic house museum open to the public in Wilmington and is celebrating 251 years of history!
